Saskia Albrecht
Team Leader Support

Hi Saskia. Please introduce yourself.
I come from Oberbruch, a small village near Bühl. After extensive travels, during which I had the opportunity to deliver PLM and PDM training courses in China, India, Canada, and the United States, I felt the desire to return home. BCT welcomed me into the Support team, which I now have the privilege of leading. As a mother of two, I currently work part-time — a role that brings its own unique challenges.
What are your responsibilities at BCT?
As a Support Team Leader, I am responsible for the satisfaction of both our customers and my team. At times, I coordinate support requests between us and our partner Siemens. In our day-to-day operations, I handle topics related to Teamcenter (PLM) and everything that comes with it.
Saskia shares her perspective on what’s most important in Support
What do you particularly enjoy about your role at BCT?
Above all, it is the collaboration with my colleagues. Both within the department and across the company, there is a positive atmosphere and an excellent working environment (when we are not working from home). The industry in which we operate is highly exciting: as a company, we focus on digitalisation in the manufacturing sector. This means we are always engaged with the latest technological trends in production.Above all, it is the collaboration with my colleagues. For my area of responsibility, this translates into constantly facing new tasks and challenges, which provide me with opportunities to further my education and continuously develop my skills.
What does “creating value together” mean to you?
After working at a large corporation, where you are often just a number and support can be difficult to find, I have rediscovered at BCT what it truly means to work together and be part of a team 🏆. Since I work part-time, I do not always pick up on everything immediately — but here, support is always available, and the whole team has your back. For me, it demonstrates that only through our joint efforts can we truly move our customers forward.
Let’s stay on the subject of flexibility at BCT.
When I was expecting my son, I naturally started thinking about my future career path. BCT offered me the opportunity to balance family and work. Together, we developed a plan for a swift and successful return that still allowed me to spend precious time with my child. After my daughter was born and following a nine-month parental leave, I have now returned to BCT, working part-time.
Another important topic at BCT is further development. Why is this so important to you personally?
Particularly in Support, we need to provide our customers with competent and prompt assistance. To achieve this, it is essential that my team receives the necessary training. That is why we offer our employees opportunities for further development in new areas, including access to the Siemens Learning Centre. Everyone should be both challenged and supported.
I have yet to come across another company that invests as much in education and training. Beyond employee satisfaction, this is also a key factor in ensuring customer satisfaction ✔️
