Hi Paula, please introduce yourself.

I am Paula, 25 years old and work as a Business Development Manager at BCT. I completed my bachelor's degree in business administration at HS Gengenbach. I am currently studying Business Management with a focus on Business and Organizational Psychology at Steinbeis University.

What are your tasks at BCT?

As a business development manager, I work on positioning the BCT products. To this end, I work closely with our partner Siemens and the partner network and regularly exchange ideas with our customers. I control sales activities through targeted campaigns and accompany the product presentation at trade fairs such as those organized and carried out by Siemens. My job also includes supervising internal projects such as a project to develop innovative new products and the introduction of HubSpot Sales.

What do you especially like about your job at BCT?

I particularly like the variety of tasks and the personal creative freedom. I have the opportunity to learn new things through the constantly changing requirements and to apply the knowledge directly. I can implement my own ideas and develop new solutions.

Together with other BCT departments I organize trade fair appearances in the Siemens partner network. I take care of the presentation of BCT products and am available for questions and advice to visitors. During the trade fair I'm in touch with potential customers and business partners and collect feedback for the further development of the software. Every trade show and event is different and I have the opportunity to get in touch with customers from different industries and countries as well as versatile requirements.

What does "creating value together" mean for you?

It is important to us that we always remain in close contact on a wide variety of topics. If questions come up, you can always turn to the colleagues and count on a solution. By working with different departments, I get a lot of knowledge from the other employees. This gives me an ever better understanding of the business environment and the associated challenges, and we can find solutions together with the customer on an equal footing.

What is important to succesfully accompany a company through its transformation?

There are changes all the time in today's world. For me, it is therefore important to work in a company that tackles necessary changes directly in order to remain successful in the future. In addition, from my point of view it's important to bring all employees along through such a transformation in order to be able to implement changes and adapt to the changed circumstances in the long term ๐Ÿค–โค๏ธ

Another important topic at BCT is further development. Why is this topic so important tou you personally?

After completing my bachelor's degree, it was clear to me that I wanted to continue my education in different areas. At BCT, I was able to learn a lot right from the start through the various continuing education programs - also in cooperation with Siemens. In addition to these training opportunities, I was given the chance to study for a master's degree alongside my job. BCT also supports me in this, allowing me to gain professional experience and further know-how through the master's degree at the same time.

How important is practical expereince to you in your work?

Very important. Initial adjustments and improvements can be made directly through direct feedback from colleagues, business partners and the customer. The feedback can be implemented immediately in order to achieve even better results for the customer. The great thing about this is that everything works in a very practical way and the implementation of the topics discussed can be directly accompanied. Your own work has a direct impact and makes a noticeable difference in a wide range of areas.

Be a part of BCT.

Take the next step: Become part of our team and develop tomorrow's future with us.
