Solution Architect

Hi Marco, please introduce yourself.

Hello, my name is Marco Molitor, I've been here at BCT for over 20 years and I'm from the beautiful Ortenau, from Kehl am Rhein. I have completed my dual studies in the field of mechanical engineering together with the BCT, making me one of many homegown talents.

What are your tasks at BCT?

My roots are in classic PLM consulting. I've been working as a solution architect for a few years. My area of responsibility is very diverse. I design PLM solutions together with the customer, try to cover their requirements in the system as best as possible and increasingly carry out potential analyses.

You've been working at BCT for 20 years πŸ™ŒπŸΌ What makes your everyday Work constantly exciting?

My everyday work is constantly changing. Our products and Siemens products are always state-of-the-art. New technologies and new methods keep opening up new possibilities that help our customers and take them further. In my job you never stop learning.

In my job, I travel for customers in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Since we have been working together for a long time, I know the local area well and almost feel at home on Lake Constance or in the Alps. I combine regular appointments with customers with bike rides or a walk in the evening as compensation.

Describe your job in three words

Varied, challenging, exciting.

What does "creating value together" mean for you?

In general, our projects are implemented with large project teams, both on the customer side and within BCT. The added value we achieve in these projects can only be realized through a collaborative effort between the various disciplines within the teams, as well as with the customer. Through this strong collaboration, we can ultimately ensure the long-term success of the projects βœ”οΈ

A healthy balance in your free time is important. So tell us about your hobbies.

In my free time, I coach a youth team here in town, where my son also plays. The 20 very active kids certainly keep me on my toes. I also like to ride my bike when the weather is nice. Be it with the racing bike along the Rhine or with the mountain bike in the Black Forest. In winter, however, I prefer the skis.

Be a part of BCT.

Take the next step: Become part of our team and develop tomorrow's future with us.
