Hi Jan, please introduce yourself

I'm from Lahr and completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering at the University in Offenburg. Before my studies, I completed an apprenticeship as a technical product designer. Since my apprenticeship I have been doing a lot with CAD systems, also in my private life.

What are your tasks at BCT?

As a consultant, I'm involved in all areas of the Siemens NX CAD system. I work for various customers and am responsible for system adjustments and optimizations in the NX area. In addition, I also give various training courses in all NX areas.

Describe your job in three words

Varied. Exciting topics. Cool team.

What do you like especially about your job at BCT?

My wish was to work in a smaller company. It's all very familiar here and we have a great community. Mobile working is also a big topic these days. At BCT I have the opportunity to do this independently.

What does "creating value together" mean for you?

As with many things in life, it's hard to get where you want to go alone. We are a team where everyone helps everyone else. Together, we can offer our customers great added value.

A healthy balance in your free time is important. So tell us about your hobbies.

One of my hobbies is mountain biking. I regularly go to the forest with friends and explore new trails. Here it's important to know the skills of the fellow riders to get safely to the destination.
