Hi Sascha. Please introduce yourself.

Hello, I’m Sascha, and I’ve been with BCT since 2007. I began my career here as a CAD Consultant – today I head up the Order Services and Customer Success departments. My journey with BCT actually started back in 1997, when, as a technical draftsman and aspiring industrial engineer, I first came into contact with BCT and the CAD system Unigraphics – now known as NX.

What are your tasks at BCT and what do you especially enjoy about your role?

I am responsible for the strategic and operational management of our customer projects and relationships – from initial engagements to long-term partnerships. What matters most to me is building a strong team that not only supports our customers but truly inspires them.

What do I value about BCT? That we create sustainable added value – both for our customers and for our employees.

BCT Führungskräfte1-1

This is what leadership looks like at our company: authentic, approachable, and full of energy. Our leadership team stands not only for expertise and experience but, above all, for team spirit, openness, and a genuine desire to make a difference together.

Was does "creating value together" mean for you?

For me, it means more than just working together – it’s about growing together, both as individuals and as a team. By combining our strengths, we create genuine added value for our customers that goes far beyond pure software solutions.

Which skills do you consider particularly important in the coming years – for yourself and your team?

Technical expertise will of course remain important. But increasingly, what really counts are communication skills, personal responsibility, and the courage to try new things – especially in areas such as AI and automation. And, above all: curiosity.

What do you expect from your employees in terms of further development – and how do you actively encourage this?

I want my colleagues to feel motivated to keep developing – both professionally and personally. That’s why I regularly speak with my team in feedback sessions about their learning goals, share valuable opportunities, and encourage them to simply get started.
For us, learning is not an obligation but an integral part of our culture. And we live this in a very tangible way: on average, we at BCT dedicate around 15% of our working time to training and development – from career starters to the executive board.

What makes BCT special for you?

For me, it’s the unique combination of expertise, team spirit, and creative freedom. At BCT, you can take on responsibility, contribute actively, and still remain true to yourself. What excites me most is that we are visibly shaping the future – not only for our customers, but also for ourselves.

What do you do in your free time to balance out your work?

Alongside spending time with my family, I am passionate about cooking. Out in the countryside, I find relaxation in my garden. Planting, redesigning, and simply working with the soil often spark completely new ideas. Here too, you need a plan, patience, and the willingness to let things grow – just as at work. And the best part? In the end, you can see what you have created.

Be part of BCT.

Take the next step. Join our team and help us shape the future.
