Goals

• In the long term, the goal must be to achieve shorter development times by increasing productivity.
• Automatic checks and approvals in Teamcenter with the help of BCT CheckIt to increase productivity 
• Introducing recursive assembly release

Lessons Learned

• The entry point for the release process at Bausch + Ströbel was the entire machine/main assembly. The check takes place automatically in a workflow, but can also be started by the user
• During validation, the BOM is resolved recursively and validation is applied to each component it contains
• With BCT CheckIt, errors are already detected before the start of the workflow by means of various checks
• BCT CheckIt offers easier operation, better clarity and improved speed for approval workflows
